Add booking and a contact form to your own website

Paste a Setvos widget into your website so visitors can book or leave their details there.

  1. 01

    Open the website section

Open Integrations › Your website. People with the workspace-settings permission see “Website widgets”. Anyone who manages booking settings also sees a card saying that a custom address for the booking page is not available yet.

  2. 02

    Choose a widget

    • “Contact form” — submissions arrive as a contact and a deal, with the same spam defences as our own form
    • “Booking, inline” — the booking steps inside your page
    • “Booking, popup” — a floating button in the corner that opens booking in a dialog
    • “Booking, button” — a button where you paste it, opening the same dialog
    • “Book now button” — a link to your public booking page

The booking widgets appear once a place has a public link.

  3. 03

    Paste it into your site

Press “Copy” beside the widget and paste the snippet into your website’s HTML where it should appear. The widgets carry no Setvos name or badge, and booking follows your website’s language. With more than one place, the card says how to point a snippet at another place.

  4. 04

Know how booking works inside it

Visitors book as guests. When a booking takes a deposit, the payment page opens in a new tab, because payment pages do not run inside another website.

  5. 05

Rotate the key only if you must

“Rotate” beside “Widget key” asks “Issue a new widget key?” first, because every widget already on a page stops working until you paste the new snippet. Rotate only when the key is being misused, and paste the new snippets straight after.

Common questions

Can I get the widget code on the phone?

Yes: Website widgets shows the snippets to copy, and Rotate issues a new widget key, after asking first.
