Deals: the work you are trying to win
Track each piece of work you hope to win on a board of stages, see what each stage is worth, and record why deals are won or lost.
The board
Deals opens on “Board”: one column per stage of a pipeline, each with how many deals it holds and what they add up to. Drag a card to the next column as the work moves on.
The list
“List” shows your deals as a table you can search, filter by status, by pipeline or by your own deal fields, sort and export.
A deal’s page
Click a deal to open its page: its amount, stage, client, owner and expected close date, a timeline of notes and stage moves, and the tasks about it.
Stages and pipelines
Your stages start from your type of business. An owner or admin renames, reorders and adds to them, and adds more pipelines, in Settings › Pipelines. Every stage means open, won or lost, and moving a deal into a won or lost stage is what closes it. With more than one pipeline, a menu beside “Board” and “List” switches between them.
Who sees which deals
Your role decides. “All records” sees every deal; “Own team” sees the deals whose “Owner” is you or someone in your team, and “Own only” just yours. A deal you add is yours unless you choose another owner; one that arrives from your website’s form has no owner, so only roles that see all records see it until someone gives it one. A deal outside your role is not on your board or in your list, and the column totals count only what you can see.
Where to start
Rename the stages to the words your team already uses, then add the deals you are working on now with “New deal”.

Add a deal
Create a deal with a title, a value, a client and an owner, and put it in the right pipeline and stage from the start.
Move deals across the board
Drag deals from stage to stage, read what each stage is worth, switch between pipelines, and say why a deal was lost as you drop it.
Work on a deal’s page
Move a deal to another stage, log what happened, keep its details right and see the tasks about it, all from one screen.
Set up your pipelines and their stages
Rename, reorder, add and remove the stages your deals move through, decide which stages close a deal, and choose the default pipeline.
Contacts: your clients and the companies they work for
Keep one card per client with their history, notes, tags and files, find anyone in seconds, and keep the list free of duplicates.
Tasks: the follow-ups you promised to do
Write down each follow-up with a due date and a priority, give it to whoever will do it, link it to the client, deal or invoice it is about, and tick it off when it is done.
