Connect a service, test it and keep it working

Connect any service on the integrations page, test the credentials before you rely on them, and re-check, update or disconnect it later.

  1. 01

    Open the section

In Integrations, choose a section from the list, or search for the service by name. Each service is a row that says “Connected” or “Not connected”.

  2. 02

    Check what you need first

Under a service that is not connected, “Before you start” says what you must already have with the provider — a business account, an approved sender name, an API token. Arrange that with the provider first: the connection only works with it.

  3. 03

    Enter the credentials

Press “Connect” on the row. Fill in the fields the dialog asks for; a field marked “optional” can stay empty. Most fields say where to find their value in the provider’s dashboard, and “Setup guide” opens the provider’s own instructions.

  4. 04

    Test before you save

Press “Test connection”. Setvos asks the provider whether the credentials work and shows “Credentials verified”, or “Check failed” with what went wrong. A test saves nothing, so you can correct a value and test again.

  5. 05

    Save the connection

Press “Connect” at the bottom of the dialog. The row now says “Connected”, with “Stored as” and the last four characters of one of the values. It says “Not checked yet” until you press “Re-check”.

  6. 06

    Re-check, update or disconnect later

    • “Re-check” asks the provider again about the saved credentials and records the answer, such as “Checked 2 minutes ago”.
    • “Update credentials” opens an empty dialog. What you enter replaces everything saved, which is how you change a key or a password.
    • “Disconnect” asks first and says what stops: everything that runs through the service stops at once, and its saved keys are deleted. Press “Disconnect” again to confirm; to bring it back, connect it again with its keys.

Common questions

Why don’t I see a “Connect” button?

Connecting needs the workspace-settings permission, which owners and admins have. You can still see what is connected; ask an owner or admin to make the change.

The check failed. What now?

Read what follows “Check failed” — for example, that the provider rejected the credentials or could not be reached. Fix it in the provider’s dashboard, press “Update credentials”, enter the values again and test.

Can I see a saved key again?

No. Credentials are encrypted and never shown back; only the last four characters of one value are. If you need the key, copy it again from the provider’s dashboard.

Can I connect services on the phone?

Yes, if you may change the workspace settings; others can read them. Integrations shows the categories, then Calendar, Website and Developer, with a search. A connector’s sheet asks for its fields, with Test before Connect; ⋯ holds Re-check and Disconnect, which asks first. The mailbox and calendar connections are set up on the web.
