Set your business details: country, time zone, currency and language

Tell Setvos what kind of business this is and where it works, and add the seller details that your invoices and quotes carry.

  1. 01

    Open General settings

Open Settings › General. You need to be an owner or admin.

  2. 02

    Check the business type

Under “Business details”, “Business type” switches on the modules this kind of business usually needs and sets up the team’s default dashboard. Changing it switches more modules on and never switches any off, so no data is lost; it does replace the default dashboard layout.

  3. 03

Set the country and time zone

“Country” decides which payment providers you can sign up for and the currency your licence is sold in. “Time zone” decides what every booking and shift time means. If it is wrong, every appointment is off by the difference, so check it first.

  4. 04

Choose the currency and client language

“Currency” is used for new products, deals and invoices; records you already have keep theirs. “Client language” is what your clients get their booking confirmations and reminders in — it is not the language of your own screens.

  5. 05

    Save

Press “Save” under the business details. Only the fields you changed are saved.

  6. 06

    Add your seller details

Under “Seller details”, fill in the “Legal name”, the “Tax ID type” (ЄДРПОУ for a company, РНОКПП for a sole trader), the “Tax ID”, the “IBAN” and the “Tax status”; the “Bank” and the “Legal address” are optional. They are printed on every invoice and quote. Press this card’s own “Save”: the tax ID and the IBAN are checked then, and a mistake is shown under the field.

  7. 07

The other cards on this screen

Below them, “Owner policy — profile fields” decides what members may change about themselves and can require two-factor sign-in for owners and admins, and “Support access” lets our support team into this workspace for a limited time.

Common questions

Will changing the country change what I pay?

Only for a licence you have not bought yet. A licence you have paid for keeps the currency it was sold in, and Plan & billing says which currency applies.

I changed the currency, but my old invoices still show the old one. Why?

On purpose: the currency applies to new records only, so an invoice never changes the amount it was issued for.

Can I change general settings on the phone?

Yes, with the workspace settings permission: the name, industry, currency, language, time zone, requisites and the owner’s policy, including requiring two-factor sign-in. The country is changed on the web, because it decides what the licence is billed in.
