Products: one price list for everything you sell

What the catalogue is for, how products and services differ, and where the rest of Setvos reads your prices from.

  1. 01

    What the catalogue holds

Products lists everything you sell, with its type, price, stock and status. Invoice lines, orders, purchase orders, the till, the online shop and shelf labels all read from here, so a price change lands in one place.

  2. 02

    Products and services

Each item is a “Product” or a “Service”. A service here is a line you can put on an invoice; the services clients book in the diary are set up separately in Bookings › Services.

  3. 03

    Finding things

Search by name or SKU, filter by type, and switch between “Active”, “Archived” and “All” — the list shows active items unless you ask. Click a row to open it.

  4. 04

    Categories, export and import

“Categories” sorts the catalogue into shelves, and “Export” downloads the list if your role allows exporting. To bring in a whole price list from a file, use the import in Settings › Data.

  5. 05

    Where stock is counted

With Inventory switched on, stock is counted per warehouse, and the “Stock” number in this list is the total on hand across your warehouses. For a product that tracks inventory, clicking it opens Inventory › Stock filtered to that product, where stock is adjusted. Without Inventory, the number is a simple count kept on the product, moved by hand with “Adjust stock”.
