Work with a candidate: interviews, scorecards and decisions
On a candidate's page, schedule interviews, collect a scorecard from each interviewer, and move them on or reject them.
Open the candidate
Click a candidate on Recruitment, or find them by name with search. The header shows the role, where they came from and their stage, and the bar below shows how far along they are. “Contact” holds their details.
Move them on
Press “Advance to …”, which names the next stage, to move them there; advancing into Hired marks them hired. This button and those in the steps below are there only for a Setvos role that can edit Recruitment.
Schedule an interview
Choose “Schedule” (under ⋯ on a phone), give the interview a “Title”, a time under “When” and the names under “Interviewers”, and press “Schedule”. It is listed under “Upcoming”. It is not added to any calendar and nothing is sent to anyone, so invite people yourself.
Close an interview
After it happens, press “Mark done” on it and it moves to “Completed”; press “Cancel” if it is called off.
Add your scorecard
Press “Add scorecard”, give a “Rating (1–5)” and a “Verdict” from strong yes to strong no, say what “Your role in the loop” was, add “Notes” and press “Submit”. Each interviewer keeps one scorecard per candidate; sending another replaces yours. The page shows the average rating.
Reject them
Choose “Reject” to end their application, then confirm with “Reject”. The web app cannot undo it. The rejection email goes out at once, and only if it is switched on in “Recruitment settings”.
Common questions
- Does hiring someone create their employee record?
Yes, while People is switched on: moving them into Hired adds them on People with the status Onboarding, the role’s title, department and type, and today, on your workspace’s clock, as the start date. Nothing is added when someone on People already has their email as a work email, or when People is off; then add them with “Add employee”.
- Does their onboarding start by itself?
Yes, when the “Onboarding checklist” automation is on: the new record gets a checklist at once, with its due dates counted from today. Otherwise correct their start date first, then start their checklist on Onboarding.
- What can I do with a candidate on the phone?
Add a candidate with their name, contacts, current role and source (Work.ua and Robota.ua count as job boards). A candidate has a stage bar, Call and Email, scorecards and interviews: schedule an interview with its interviewers, mark it done or cancel it, then advance the candidate or reject them.
