Recruitment: questions and answers

Short answers about roles that do not appear, what the tiles measure, rejecting and deleting candidates, and how Recruitment fits with People.

Common questions

Why doesn't a role I saved appear on the Recruitment screen?

The screen starts on open roles. Choose “Draft”, “Closed” or “All roles” in the filter under the title to find a draft or a closed role; select it and use “Publish role” or “Reopen role” to open it.

How is the average time to hire measured?

The days from when a candidate was added to when they were marked hired, averaged over everyone hired for any role and rounded to whole days.

What is the offer accept rate?

Hires as a share of hires plus candidates rejected while in the Offer stage, whatever you have renamed it to.

Can I delete a candidate?

No. Reject them instead; their page, details and scorecards stay, and you can still find them with search.

Can I undo a rejection?

Not in the web app. A rejected candidate cannot be moved back into the pipeline, so reject only when you are sure.

Does Recruitment need People switched on?

No. It works on its own. With People switched on, the departments come from it and a hire creates the employee record by itself.

Are candidates told when I move them?

No. The only message Setvos sends a candidate is the rejection email, and only when it is switched on.
