Move candidates through your hiring stages

Drag candidates from stage to stage on the pipeline, or move and reject several at once from the list.

  1. 01

    Open the pipeline

On Recruitment, select the role and stay on “Pipeline”. Each column is a stage, with its own count and pages.

  2. 02

    Drag a card

Drag a candidate's card to another column to move them to that stage. Click a card to open the candidate. Moving needs a Setvos role that can edit Recruitment.

  3. 03

    Update several from the list

Switch to “Candidates”, which lists the active candidates. Filter by stage (“All stages”) or rating (“Any rating”), tick the people you want, then pick a stage under “Move to stage”, which applies straight away, or press “Reject & notify”, which asks first. The boxes are there only for a Setvos role that can edit Recruitment.

  4. 04

    Know what Hired does

Moving someone into the Hired stage, by dragging, from the list or with “Advance to …”, marks them hired. They stay in that column and cannot be moved again. With People switched on, their employee record is created at the same time. The time-to-hire and offer accept rate tiles count these hires.

  5. 05

    Know what rejecting does

A rejected candidate leaves the pipeline and the list, and the web app cannot undo it, so Setvos asks you to confirm first. If “Rejection email” is on in “Recruitment settings”, they are sent a polite decline by email straight away; otherwise nothing is sent, even from “Reject & notify”.

Common questions

How does the pipeline work on the phone?

Recruitment’s Pipeline shows the stages as columns, Hired last; touch and hold a candidate to drag them to another stage. Candidates filters by stage and rating, and selecting several can “Move to stage” or “Reject & notify”; the rejection email goes out only when it is switched on.
