What a payslip is built from
Know where each line of a payslip comes from (salary days, hours, sales, classes, unpaid leave and reference taxes) so you can check it.
Monthly salary
A fixed monthly salary is paid for the calendar days the person was employed in the month: someone who joins on the 11th of a 30-day month gets 20 days' worth. An advance pays the share of the 1st to the 15th.
Hours
Hourly pay counts the time clock when the person clocked in during the period, and their published rota hours when they did not. Only finished entries count: a shift nobody has clocked out of is left out until it is closed. Entries a manager corrected or added count like any other.
Commission
Commission is counted on sales paid at the till in the period, on the lines that name the person, after the sale's discount is shared across its lines. Services and products take their own rates, and a per-service rate beats the services rate.
Classes
For “Per class” pay, every seat that was not cancelled in a group class marked done counts once.
Unpaid leave
For a fixed salary, each working day of approved unpaid leave in the period takes a working day's share of the monthly salary off.
Reference taxes
With reference taxes on in “Payroll settings”, income tax (ПДФО) and the military levy are shown as deductions and ЄСВ as the employer's cost, at the rates you entered. It is a calculation for your accountant to accept or replace, not a filing.
Every line says where it came from
Open a payslip to see each line with its source: the hours and whether they came from the time clock or the rota, the days employed, the number of sales and the rate.
Common questions
- Why is someone's commission missing?
Their employee record is not linked to their login, the sale line does not name them, the sale was not paid at the till within the period, or their scheme has no commission rate.

Set how someone is paid
Choose a pay scheme for an employee (monthly, hourly, commission, tiered or per class) from a date, and keep every change as history.
See a period's pay day by day
Lay a pay period out by day to see what each day added to each person's pay, and check it against the run.
Use the time clock
Clock yourself in and out, see who is in at each place on any day, correct an entry or add a missing one, and export the hours.
Set your time-off policy
Choose yearly allowances, whether requests need approval, the working week, the holiday calendar and how many days carry over.
Take payment for a visit at the till
Close a visit and take its money in one step: add products, apply a membership, a promo code or a discount, split the payment across cash, card, gift card, points or a payment link, and book the client’s next visit.
Link an employee record to a login
Connect a record to the person's Setvos account, so their time clock, payslips, rota shifts and till sales are counted as theirs.
