Add bonuses and deductions, and review them

Put a bonus or deduction on a draft payslip, and see every adjustment, yours and the computed ones, in one filtered list.

  1. 01

    Open a draft payslip

Open a draft run and click the person's payslip. Adjustments can be changed only while the run is a draft (and, for an advance, before its remainder exists), with a role that can edit Payroll.

  2. 02

    Add a line

Under “Adjustments”, press “Add line”. Type what it is for in “Label” and the amount beside it: a positive amount is a bonus, a negative one a deduction. The cross beside a line removes it.

  3. 03

    Save it

Press “Save adjustments”. Gross pay, reference taxes and net pay are worked out again. A line with no label or no amount is not saved, and deductions that would take gross pay below zero are refused.

  4. 04

    Review them all

Open Payroll › Bonuses & deductions. It lists every bonus and deduction beside the ones a payslip computes itself: unpaid leave, income tax, the military levy and the advance already paid.

  5. 05

    Filter and total

Narrow the list by “Employee”, “Kind”, “Status” and the months “From” and “To”; without months it shows the last twelve. The chips above the list total each kind over the whole filter. Click a row to open its run.

Common questions

Does “Rebuild” remove my adjustments?

No. It works the draft out again from today's facts and keeps the bonuses and deductions.

Can I see bonuses and deductions on the phone?

Yes: “Bonuses & deductions” filters by person, dates, kind and run status, with totals over the filter.
