Tasks: the follow-ups you promised to do

Write down each follow-up with a due date and a priority, give it to whoever will do it, link it to the client, deal or invoice it is about, and tick it off when it is done.

  1. 01

    The task list

Tasks shows open tasks, the soonest due first. Each row has a tick box, the title, the records it is about, the due date (in red once it is overdue), the priority, and the picture of the person it is assigned to.

  2. 02

    Tasks sit beside your records

A task can point at any record: a client, a deal, an invoice, an appointment and more. A client’s or a deal’s page lists the open tasks about it and can start a new one already linked.

  3. 03

    Tasks on the calendar

A task with a due date also shows on Calendar, in green, on its due day and at its time if it has one. Click it there to open the task.

  4. 04

    Who sees which tasks

Your role decides. “All records” sees every task; “Own team” sees the tasks assigned to you or to someone in your teams, and “Own only” just the tasks assigned to you. A task you create is assigned to you unless you choose someone else in “Assignee”. An owner or admin sets roles in Settings › Roles & permissions.

  5. 05

    Where to start

Press “New task” for the next thing you promised a client, give it a due date, and link it to them.
