Work on a deal’s page
Move a deal to another stage, log what happened, keep its details right and see the tasks about it, all from one screen.
Open the deal
Click a card on the board or a row in the list on Deals. The page shows the title, the amount and a badge with its status.
Move it to another stage
The menu at the top shows the current stage; pick another stage of the same pipeline to move the deal there. A move into a lost stage asks “Why was it lost?”, as the board does. The menu is greyed out for roles that may not edit deals.
Log what happened
Type in the box under “Activity”, choose “Note”, “Call”, “Email” or “Meeting”, and press “Log activity”. Stage moves are added to the timeline for you, with the stage names as they were at the time. The box is there for roles that may edit deals.
Read the details
“Details” shows the amount, stage, client (click to open their card), owner, expected close, the date it closed, why it was lost if it was (with “Change the reason” or “Add a reason” beside it), when it was created, and your workspace’s own deal fields once they are filled.
See its tasks
The “Tasks” card lists the open tasks about this deal; its + button adds one already linked to it. With AI switched on for your workspace, the “AI brief” card sums the deal up.
Log its time
The “Time” card shows the time still to bill for the deal’s client and the latest entries. Its + button logs time, its play button runs a timer, and “Invoice unbilled time” makes a draft invoice for the client.
Edit or delete it
“Edit” changes the title, amount, expected close, client, owner and your own fields; press “Save changes”. With more than one pipeline, it also has “Pipeline”: choosing another one shows that pipeline’s “Stage”, starting on its first open stage, and saving moves the deal there, written on its timeline like any stage move. “Delete” (under the ⋯ button on a phone) removes the deal and its timeline for good, after you confirm.
Common questions
- Can I undo a deleted deal?
No. If the work is simply over, move the deal to a won or lost stage instead; it keeps its history.
- What does a deal show on the phone?
Stage chips to move it, where a lost stage asks why; the details — pipeline, client, company, owner, expected close and the lost reason with “Change the reason” or “Add a reason”; custom fields; Activity; a Summary that uses one AI credit when AI is on; and Tasks. ⋯ has Edit and Delete, which asks first.
