Save an audience to reuse in campaigns and broadcasts

Describe a group of clients once, such as “not seen for 90 days” or “birthday this week”, and pick it whenever you send a campaign or a text broadcast.

  1. 01

    Open the audiences

Open Campaigns and press “Audiences”. The screen lists your saved audiences with the conditions each one uses. “New audience” is there only if your role can add clients, “Save” on an audience you open only if it can edit them, and the bin icon only if it can delete them.

  2. 02

    Start a new audience

Press “New audience” and type an “Audience name” you will recognise later, for example “Lapsed colour clients”. Each audience needs a name of its own.

  3. 03

    Set the conditions

Fill in only the conditions you need; an empty field is ignored, and every field you fill must match. At least one must be filled.

    • “Visited in the last N days”: has been in, and had a visit in that period or has a booking ahead.
    • “Not seen for N days”: has been in at least once, not in that period, and has nothing booked ahead, the same rule as the win-back message. For both, a visit counts once it has started, marked done or not; a cancelled visit or a no-show does not.
    • “At least N visits”: visits ever, counted the same way: one that has started counts, marked done or not.
    • “Spent at least (minor units)” and “Spent at most (minor units)”: lifetime spend on paid invoices and till sales, in the smallest unit of your currency, such as kopiyky or cents, so 1500.00 is written 150000.
    • “Birthday in the next N days”: counting today.
  4. 04

    Count who matches

Press “Count”. You see how many clients match and how many of them can be reached by text. When you open an audience you saved earlier, its current count is shown before you press anything. An audience that matches very few people is worth widening before you save it.

  5. 05

    Save it

Press “Save”. The audience now appears under “Saved audience” in the campaign editor and on the “Broadcast” tab of Messaging (SMS).

  6. 06

    Change or delete it later

Click an audience’s name to change its conditions, or press the bin icon beside it and confirm with “Delete” to delete it for good. An audience that a draft or scheduled campaign still uses cannot be deleted: the message says how many campaigns use it.

Common questions

Is a saved audience a fixed list of clients?

No. It is a question that is answered each time you use it, so “not seen for 90 days” is always current. Who actually received a campaign is recorded when it is sent.

Can I build an audience from tags?

Tags are chosen on the campaign itself, under “Conditions on this campaign”, or on the “Broadcast” tab of Messaging (SMS). The audiences screen offers the visit, spend and birthday conditions.

Why can’t I delete an audience?

Because a campaign that has not been sent yet, a draft or a scheduled one, still uses it, and without it that campaign would go to every client. Open those campaigns and choose another audience, or delete the drafts you no longer need, then delete the audience. Campaigns already sent do not stop a delete: they keep their record of who received them.

How do I choose who gets a campaign on the phone?

Pick a saved audience, or set this campaign’s own conditions: tags, places, sources and last activity — any time, or the last 30, 60 or 90 days. The Reach card counts who matches and who can be reached, with each reason a client cannot be. For a text it says how many of this month’s texts the send counts; on your own SMS gateway nothing counts against Setvos’s texts, and a campaign text never falls back from your gateway to Setvos’s allowance. Saved audiences have their own screen, with a live count beside the conditions.
