Tag clients and filter by tag

Mark the clients you treat differently, such as VIP, allergy or do not call, and find them again in one click.

  1. 01

    Open the tag picker

On a client’s card, press “Tags” beside their name. It is there for roles that may edit clients.

  2. 02

    Pick or create a tag

Start typing in “Filter or create…”. Pick an existing tag to add it; if no tag has that name yet, choose the “Create …” line to make it and add it at once. Pick a tag that is already ticked to take it off.

  3. 03

    See the tags

Tags show as coloured labels beside the client’s name, and in the list’s “Tags” column on a wide screen.

  4. 04

Filter the list by a tag

In Contacts, pick the tag in the tag menu next to the search box.

  5. 05

Delete a tag you no longer use

In the tag picker, the bin beside a tag deletes it after you confirm. It comes off every client and company that carries it. Deleting a tag needs a role that may delete clients.

Common questions

Can I send a campaign to everyone with a tag?

Yes. A campaign’s audience can be built from tags; see the campaigns section.

Can companies have tags too?

Yes. Type them in a company’s “Tags” field, separated by commas. They come from the same list as your clients’ tags, and a name no tag has yet adds a new one.

How do I tag a client on the phone?

On the client’s record, choose Tags under ⋯. Search for a tag and tap it to add or remove it, or create a new one with a colour. Deleting a tag asks first, because it removes the tag from every record. The Clients list has a chip for each tag.
