Lanes, instructors and packs that add up.
A lesson needs an instructor and a lane at the same hour, and a pool has only so many lanes. Parents buy packs and want to know how many lessons are left.

What a swimming school switches on first
Group classes
A service with a capacity on a timetable that opens its sessions ahead: drop-ins take seats, and members are enrolled for the term.
Memberships
Monthly passes paid through your own gateway: on the client’s card when they choose it at purchase, by a payment link otherwise.
Waitlist
Offer a freed spot to the next person in one tap.
Trainer diaries
Each trainer’s own bookable hours and their own column in the grid.
Check-in and the register
A check-in code on every booking and seat, a member’s pass scanned at the door, and a register the trainer keeps on the phone: present, no-show or excused.

What your client sees

Six things that only matter in a swimming school
Lanes as resources
Each lane bookable in its own right: a lesson takes an instructor and a lane together, so two groups are never put in one lane.
Group lessons with a capacity
Beginners of six and improvers of eight, spots left shown live, and a waitlist offered the freed place in one tap.
One-to-one lessons every week
A private lesson at the same hour every week as a standing booking, each one a real visit with its own reminder.
Packs and memberships
A pack of lessons or a monthly membership, paid through your own gateway; a group lesson uses it when the swimmer is marked present, a one-to-one lesson at checkout.
Each child under the parent
Each child a record under the parent who pays, with their own lessons, seats and pack.
Swimmers at the door
A swimmer’s pass is a QR code in their account: the desk scans it, a visits pack uses one visit a day, and a child’s pass sits on the parent’s account, with the waiver signed by the parent.
Waitlists you can act on
A drop-out frees the spot at once; offer it to the next person from the list in one tap.
Memberships that renew themselves
The client’s card is charged each period when they choose it at purchase (LiqPay or Fondy), a payment link goes out otherwise, and there is a grace period and a lapse you never chase by hand.
Off-peak classes priced to fill
Discount the midday session on the booking page and let the price move people into it.
Your first week on Setvos
Add the lanes
Each lane as a resource, and each lesson linked to the lanes it may use.
Put in the lessons
Group lessons with their capacity and instructor, one-to-one lessons in each instructor’s diary, and the week published.
Set up the packs
A pack of lessons and a monthly membership, with the link to pay sent to each family.
Move the regulars to standing bookings
Every one-to-one swimmer’s weekly hour set once at the desk; a clash is reported, never forced.
A 4-person studio pays €40/mo
4 employees on Standard, 12-month term: €55/mo list, €561 on day 7, and 14 months of service (12 paid + 2 bonus) — €40 effective per month. Prices exclude tax. VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where it is due; an EU business with a valid VAT number pays no VAT and accounts for it under the reverse charge.
Swimming school: questions
Can someone rent a lane without an instructor?
Not as a booking of its own: every lesson is booked with an instructor. A lane can be held for your own sessions by booking it with a service.
Can a parent see how many lessons are left?
The pack and what remains are on the client’s card at the desk, and on the client’s own page on setvos.com for whoever holds the pack.
Where does an instructor note a swimmer’s progress?
On the client’s card: the level as a tag or custom field, notes from each lesson, and dated measurements such as distance swum.
Sport & fitness questions
What happens when a member cancels late?
Your notice window decides whether the deposit is kept. The spot frees at once, and you can offer it to the waitlist in one tap.
Can someone book a whole term?
Yes: give the class a timetable and enrol them — a seat in every session between two days, and a full one is skipped and shown, never forced. Drop-ins still take single seats, and the waitlist offers a freed one in one tap.
How are trainers paid for a class?
Per head, by the hour or by commission. Per-class pay counts each session closed in the register — the members present and the no-shows, never the excused — next to hourly pay from the rota and commission from the till, plus adjustments you enter with a reason.

Lanes, instructors and packs: a swimming school’s week on one screen
A swimming lesson needs two things at the same hour — an instructor and a lane — and most diaries only track one. Here is how a school keeps both, and the packs that pay for them.
Guide
Book standing appointments and recalls
Set up a visit that repeats weekly, fortnightly or monthly, book a single follow-up months ahead, and end a series when the client stops coming.
Guide
Create a membership plan
Offer a visit pack, an hours pack or a discount membership that clients buy for a set period.
Features for Sport & fitness
Move your bookings off paper, WhatsApp and three spreadsheets.
Bring your clients, services and past visits in from a spreadsheet or your old system’s export, with a preview before anything is written — and help in chat, in six languages, whenever you want it. Most studios are live the same day.
