Send a campaign, or change it before it goes

Open a draft, make last changes, and send it to its audience now. Sending checks consent and your allowance for every client first.

  1. 01

    Open the draft

Open Campaigns and click the campaign. A draft opens in the same editor you wrote it in, with its status beside the name. A scheduled campaign opens read-only, with “Scheduled for” and its time under the name and an “Unschedule” button: press it first, because a scheduled campaign cannot be changed or sent by hand.

  2. 02

    Make last changes and save

Change anything you need, then press “Save draft”. Sending always uses the last saved version, so save before you send.

  3. 03

    Send it

Press “Send campaign”, then “Send now” in the confirmation. The audience is worked out at that moment, each client is checked for consent and a way to reach them, and the whole send is checked against your monthly allowance. If the allowance cannot cover it, nothing is sent and a message says why. Before you send, “Send a test to me” mails the saved draft to your own address, marked as a test.

  4. 04

    Or send it later

Press “Schedule” instead to pick a date and time. The campaign then goes out on its own at that time.

  5. 05

    Watch it go

The status changes to “Sending…” and then to “Sent”, and the page switches to the results. While it is still sending, “Cancel send” stops the messages that have not gone yet; you confirm it first, because what has already gone out cannot be taken back.

Common questions

Can I edit a campaign after it is sent?

No, a sent campaign is a record of what went out. Press “Duplicate” to get a new draft with the same content and audience, and change that.

How do I delete a campaign?

Only a draft can be deleted: open the ⋯ menu on its row in Campaigns, choose “Delete draft” and confirm; the draft is gone for good. A scheduled campaign has to be unscheduled first, and a sent or cancelled one can be archived instead.

Can I send myself a test first?

There is no separate test button. Add yourself as a client with a tag nobody else has, send the campaign to that tag, then press “Duplicate” and send the copy to everyone.

Does a text campaign need a subject?

No. Only an email has a subject line; a campaign sent as a text, on WhatsApp or on Telegram is saved without one. An email campaign cannot be sent until it has a subject.
