Messaging (SMS) · How-to

Keep offers and automatic messages out of the night

Set the hours when campaign, broadcast and automatic messages wait instead of going out, while reminders still arrive on time.

  1. 01

    Find the quiet hours

Open Messaging (SMS) and choose “Automations”. “Quiet hours” is the first card.

  2. 02

    Set the window

Choose the start under “From” and the end under “Until”, for example 21:00 until 09:00. The window may run past midnight, and it is read on your workspace’s clock, named under the fields.

  3. 03

    Save

Press “Save”. Only a role that can change messaging settings sees the button.

  4. 04

    Know what waits

Messages from campaigns, broadcasts and automations that fall inside the window are held and go out when it ends, on every channel: SMS, WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram and email. Nothing is dropped.

Booking confirmations, reminders and cancellations always go at once, because a reminder held until morning is no use. A text you type yourself in “Compose” also goes at once.

  5. 05

    Turn quiet hours off

Clear both times and press “Save”.

Common questions

Can I change quiet hours on the phone?

Yes, under Automations: From and Until, on the workspace’s clock. Automated messages wait until the morning; a reminder does not.
