Let clients tip a staff member through monobank

Point an employee at their entry in your monobank tips list, so a payment link for their visits offers the client a tip that goes straight to them.

  1. 01

    Connect monobank first

Tips are paid by the payment provider, never by Setvos, and of the providers you can connect only monobank pays tips to staff. Connect it on Integrations › Payments, then ask monobank's support to add your staff to its tips list.

  2. 02

    Open the person's tips setting

Open the employee on People and choose “Tips” (under ⋯ on a phone). It is there only if your role can edit People. Their record must be linked to their login, because the till finds the person who did a visit through it.

  3. 03

    Pick them from the list

Under “In the provider’s list”, choose the entry that is this person and press “Save”. Choose “No tips” to stop.

  4. 04

    Check the badge

The record now shows “Takes tips via monobank”. When you check out one of their visits at the till and choose “Send a payment link”, the payment page offers the client a tip, and monobank pays it to them; it never passes through your books.

Common questions

Why is the list empty?

Either no payment provider is connected, your provider does not pay tips to staff, or monobank has not added anyone to your tips list yet. The dialog says which.

Can I set a tips recipient on the phone?

Yes: “Tips recipient” under ⋯ on the record picks the person from your payment provider’s tips list. If no connected gateway supports tips, it says so.
