Create promo codes for online booking and the till
Make a code clients type on your booking page or read out at the desk, with a percentage or fixed discount and limits on dates and uses.
Create a code
Open Bookings › Promo codes and press “New code”. Type the “Code”, without spaces, such as SPRING10. Choose the “Discount”, “Percentage” or “Fixed amount”, and its “Value”.
Set the limits
“Valid until” ends the code on a date. “Total uses” caps how many times it works in all; leave it empty for no cap. “Uses per client” stops one client using it again and again. A code with no end and no cap is a standing price cut.
Choose where it works
“Works in the booking wizard” lets clients type it when they book online. “Works at the till” lets you apply it at checkout. Press “Save”.
Watch how it is used
Each code shows how many times it was used and how much it gave away. Click a code to change it. To pause a code and keep its history, switch off “Active” in it; the list then marks it “Off”. “Delete” removes a code that has never been used, after you confirm; a used code cannot be deleted, only switched off.
Know how it is applied
A code comes off after any off-peak discount, and a fixed amount never takes more than the bill. When a code cannot be used, the reason is named, for example that it expired, is fully used or was already used by this client. At the till, “Check” shows the discount before you take the money.
Common questions
- Who can create and change promo codes?
Anyone whose role may change bookings settings, usually an owner or admin. Everyone else sees the list of codes but cannot open, add or delete one.
- Can I make promo codes on the phone?
Yes, in Setvos Business under More → Bookings → Promo codes. A code has the code itself, a percentage or an amount in the workspace’s currency, dates, uses and limits, the services it works on, and Active. Delete asks first. On an iPad the list sits beside the editor.

Take payment for a visit at the till
Close a visit and take its money in one step: add products, apply a membership, a promo code or a discount, split the payment across cash, card, gift card, points or a payment link, and book the client’s next visit.
What clients see when they book online
How a client books from your page, which messages they get, how they change or cancel with their link, how they join your waitlist, and what can stop an online booking.
Campaigns: send an offer or news to a group of your clients
Write one message, choose which clients get it and on which channel, send it now or at a set time, and see what happened.
