Visits at the client’s address, and prices by size

Do a service at the client’s address, price a cleaning by the square metre or a job by the hour, keep to the area you visit, and take each person’s day with its addresses along.

  1. 01

Say where the service is done

Open Bookings › Services and the service. Under “Where it is done”, choose “At the client’s address”. Every booking of it then asks for the street and building, the city and how to get in — at the desk, on your booking page and in the phone apps — and the visit keeps them. “Buffer (min)” becomes “Travel after (min)”: the time kept free after the visit to get to the next one.

  2. 02

    Price it by size

Under “Priced by size”, choose “By square metre”, “By room”, “By window” or “By hour” instead of “One price”. “Smallest”, “Largest” and “Step” say which sizes can be booked. “Price per unit” and “Minutes per unit” are added to the service’s own price and length for each unit: with a price of 500 and 30 per square metre, 65 m² costs 2,450. A visit lasts at most a day, so a service whose largest size would take longer is refused when you save it. A visit holds one service priced by size.

  3. 03

    Set the area you visit

In Bookings › Places, open the place and fill in “Visits clients within (km)”. On your booking page, an address further from the place than that is refused and the client is asked to call you; at the desk you can still book it. Empty accepts any address. The check needs the place’s point on the map, and it starts on the day shown under the field.

  4. 04

Book a visit at the client’s

In the new visit window, a service done at the client’s asks “Where the visit is”, filled in from the client’s last visit at home, and a service priced by size asks its size before the times, which follow it. A standing appointment carries the address and the size to every visit it books. The visit’s sheet shows the address; “Edit” beside it changes it when the client moves.

  5. 05

    Take the day along

In the day view of Bookings, “Day list” prints one person’s visits for the day in time order, with each address and how to get in. In the Setvos Business app, More → Bookings → My day lists your visits for the day with the address, “Call”, “Open in maps” and “Start”, then “Done”.

Common questions

When are addresses checked against the area?

From the day shown under “Visits clients within (km)”. Checking an address means sending it to Google Maps, so every workspace owner is told 30 days before it starts; until then any address is accepted. The point Google returns is used for that check only and is not kept, and the client’s name and phone number are never sent.

Does the client get the address in a text?

No. The address shows on the visit, in the booking emails, on the client’s visit page and in both phone apps, never in a text message.

What happens to the addresses when a client’s data is erased?

“Erase personal data” clears the address from every visit and standing appointment of theirs. Exports of visits include the address columns while there is an address.

How does a client book a size online?

On your booking page, a service priced by size has a step of its own, “Size”, before the times: the client types the size and sees the price and the length it comes to. For a visit at their address, the last step asks “Where?”.
