Offer group classes, packages and services that need more
Set up a group class with seats, a package of several services, a service that needs two people, a room or a waiting stage, and a service that must follow another.
Run a group class
Set “Type” to “Group class” and give it a “Capacity”. Clients book seats from your booking page, and you can seat a client from “New appointment”, even in a class the page does not offer; a class is not offered in a standing appointment. The first booking opens the session and each later one takes a seat until it is full. The diary shows the class as one session under its name, and the month view counts its seats. A class is booked on its own, and a client can cancel a seat but not move it. Each booked seat gets its own reminders, with its own link, and its holder can cancel the seat by replying with a cancel word.
Sell places by type
Under “Place types”, press “Add a place type” and give each a name and a price, such as an adult’s and a child’s place. Your booking page then asks how many of each: one place per person, up to 20 in one booking, all under one link, each place with its own visit code. With no types, a class sells one place at its price. At the desk, “Place type” in “New appointment” picks the place a client takes.
Let a client book a session whole
Fill in “Price of a private session”. A client can then book the whole session, at that price, at a time nobody has a place in yet. The session is closed to others and leaves your booking page, and its “Register” says “Private session”. Booked whole, a class can take add-ons too.
Sell a package
Set “Type” to “Package” and, on the “Package” tab, add its services with “Add a service”. The package's “Price” is what the client pays; it books as its parts, which show on the bill and in reports.
Book two people at once
Set “People needed at once” above 1 for four-hands work. Everyone needed is booked and their time blocked; if not enough people are free, the time is not offered.
Price a room by the party
For an escape room or a party room, set “Priced by size” to “By player” and give the smallest and the largest party. Under “Prices by party size”, press “Add a price” for each price: “Up to (players)” and its “Price”, the last one reaching the largest party. A party pays the first price that reaches it; with no prices, it pays the price per player. Your booking page asks “How many players?” before the time.
Offer add-ons
Under “Add-ons”, tick other services that have one price, such as a kiln firing or a photo set. Your booking page offers them after the time, each adding its price and no time. A class offers them only when it is booked as a private session; for a place in a class, you add them at the till.
Add a waiting stage
Under “Stages”, press “Add stage” and list the parts as “Active” or “Gap” with their minutes, for example while colour develops. During a gap the specialist is free while the chair stays taken. Stages replace the duration.
Require another service first
With “Requires first”, clients can book this service online only after a finished visit for the service you pick, such as a consultation. Staff can still book it at the desk.
Reserve a room or a machine
On Bookings › Waitlist, under “Rooms and equipment”, press “Add resource”, give it a “Name”, a “Kind”, a “Place” and the “Services that need it”, and press “Save”. A time with none of them free is not offered. A resource that upcoming visits hold cannot be deleted; press “Turn off” on it instead, and it is marked “Off”.
Attach forms and a recipe
On “Consent”, tick the forms clients agree to before they can book this service. Once the service is saved, “Recipe” lists the products one visit uses; add them with “Add ingredient” and press “Save”. The till takes them off the shelf at checkout, from your only warehouse or the one you pick for products sold at the same time.
Common questions
- What is the difference between “Room / chair” and a room here?
“Room / chair” in a new appointment picks one of the place's numbered chairs by hand. A resource here belongs to services, and Setvos checks it is free before it offers a time.
- Where are classes and packages on the phone?
In More → Bookings → Services, a class or a package carries its badge in the list. In the service’s form, Basics sets the type — one client, a class or a package — Package holds the services a package contains, and Prices says which places offer it.
- How do packages and classes look in the client app?
A package shows with its parts beneath, for example “Package · 3 services · 2 h 15”, and books as those parts. A class books on its own, with no person step, and shows the seats left.

Ask clients to agree to a consent form
Write the forms clients agree to before a service, such as a patch test or a health questionnaire, attach them to services, and record a form signed at the desk.
Keep a waitlist and offer freed slots
Note clients who want a time that is not free, let them join from your booking page, offer them a slot by hand or automatically when a visit is cancelled, and know when they leave the list.
