Block a client from booking online

Stop a client booking on your booking page, keep the reason on their card, and lift the block later.

  1. 01

    Open the client’s card

Find the client in Contacts and open their card.

  2. 02

    Block them

Press “Block” at the top (under the ⋯ button on a phone). In “Reason”, write why, such as repeated no-shows; it is optional, but it saves the next person asking. Press “Block contact”.

  3. 03

    Know what changes

The card shows a “Blocked” badge and the reason. The client can no longer book online, whether signed in or as a guest. Appointments they already have stay as they are, and your team can still book them in the diary.

  4. 04

    Lift the block

Press “Unblock” in the same place. The block and its reason are removed at once.

Common questions

What does a blocked client see?

Their booking is refused with a short message that their account or number cannot book online. Your reason is never shown to them.

Can a blocked client book with another number?

Yes. A guest booking is matched to a card by phone number, so a number that is not on the blocked card creates a new client. Block that card too, and merge the two if they are the same person.

How do I block a client on the phone?

On the client’s record, choose Block under ⋯ and give a reason if you like. A blocked client cannot book online or as a guest, and their existing appointments stay. The list shows a Blocked badge, and the record has no Text tile. Unblock is in the same menu.
