See your tasks on the calendar
Give a task a due date, and a time if it happens at a moment, so it shows on the calendar beside your events.
Give the task a due date
A task appears on the calendar on its due date. Create or open it in Tasks and set “Due date”.
Give it a time if it happens at a moment
Switch off “All day” and set a “Time” and a “Duration”. The calendar then shows the task with its start time; with “All day” on, it shows without one, on its due day only.
Tell tasks from events
Tasks are green. Events are blue, or indigo when they last all day.
Open a task from the calendar
Click it. The task itself opens, over your task list, so you can change it straight away or tick it off in the list.
Common questions
- Why is my task not on the calendar?
It has no due date, or your role does not let you see it. A task needs a due date to appear.
