See, adjust and spend a client’s points
Check a client’s balance and tier, add or remove points by hand, and let them pay with points at the till.
Open the client
Open the client from Contacts. The “Loyalty” card shows the “Points balance”, the tier, the “Redeemable value” of the points and the client’s “Lifetime spend”.
Know how points are earned
While the program is active, points are added on their own when a visit is completed or an invoice is paid. A sale at the till earns on the money paid; the part paid with points earns nothing. When points are about to expire, a client with an email address gets it by email too, as a marketing message: an unsubscribe stops it.
Add or remove points by hand
Press “Adjust points”. In “Points (+ grant / − deduct)”, enter a positive number to add points or a negative one to remove them, add a note if you like, and press “Apply”. A balance cannot go below zero. Adjusting points needs a role that can edit loyalty.
Spend points at the till
In the “Checkout” window, set a payment row to “Loyalty points” (press “Add a payment” for another row) and type how many points to use. The line beside it shows how many points the client has and what they are worth. A client cannot spend more points than they hold or than the amount still due. When a client asked to pay with points as they booked online, their visit and the “Checkout” window say so.
Common questions
- What do clients see of their points in the app?
Wallet shows one card per salon: the points and roughly what they are worth, the tier, how much more to spend to reach the next one, and when the points expire.

Choose how many points clients earn, what a point is worth, the tiers and their discounts, the referral reward, whether points expire and whether you sell gift cards on your booking page.
Take payment for a visit at the till
Close a visit and take its money in one step: add products, apply a membership, a promo code or a discount, split the payment across cash, card, gift card, points or a payment link, and book the client’s next visit.

Keep one card per client with their history, notes, tags and files, find anyone in seconds, and keep the list free of duplicates.
