Subscribe to your calendar in Google, Apple or Outlook

Put your own appointments, shifts, events and timed tasks on your phone’s calendar through a private address, and replace or switch off that address if it leaks.

  1. 01

    Get your address

In Calendar, press “Subscribe”; or open Integrations › Calendar and press “Show my calendar link”. Your personal “Calendar address” appears, with a button beside it that copies it.

  2. 02

Add it to your calendar app

In Google Calendar, add it under Other calendars, From URL. Apple Calendar and Outlook also subscribe to a calendar by its address. The feed is read-only: changes you make there do not come back to Setvos.

  3. 03

    Know what it carries

Only your own work: the appointments you take or assist on, your published shifts, the events you created and the timed tasks assigned to you, from the last 30 days to about six months ahead. Nobody else’s diary is in it.

  4. 04

    Allow for a delay

Your calendar app fetches the feed on its own schedule, so a new booking can take a while to appear there. Setvos itself is always up to date.

  5. 05

    If the address gets out

Anyone with the address can read your entries. Press “New address” to replace it; the old one stops working at once, so add the new one to your calendar app. Or press “Turn off” to stop it serving anything until you press “Turn on”.

Common questions

Does everyone in the team get their own address?

Yes. Each person has their own address carrying only their own work.

Why are my tasks not in the feed?

The feed carries only tasks with a time, “All day” switched off, that are assigned to you. A task you create starts assigned to you; one you gave a colleague in “Assignee” is in their feed, not yours.

Can I subscribe from the phone?

Yes. In the calendar of Setvos Business, choose Subscribe under ⋯. A switch turns your feed on or off. “Add to this phone’s calendar” subscribes Apple Calendar to it on an iPhone; on Android it copies the link, so add a calendar by URL in your calendar app and paste it there. “Copy link” and Share pass the link on, and “Rotate the link” makes a new one: the old one stops working at once. Your calendar app reads the feed on its own schedule, usually every few hours. Anyone with the link can read the calendar.
