Booking inside Telegram
A client can book you without leaving Telegram: the booking page opens inside the chat, Telegram tells us who they are, and a returning client sees their visits.
Where it opens
Your own bot's menu button opens your booking page inside Telegram, and so does @Setvos_bot for a client of a business that allows it. It is the same page as in a browser, and the button at the bottom is Telegram's own: Continue, then Book, then the deposit when the visit needs one.
They are not asked twice who they are
Telegram vouches for the person who opened the page, so they are never asked to prove they are a person. If they shared their number with the bot, the details step shows it read-only, marked “From Telegram”; “Use another number” lets them type a different one, and that booking is then filed like any other guest's.
A returning client sees their visits
A client recognised in Telegram sees their visits at your business: the ones booked from the same Telegram account, and every visit filed under the number they shared. Opening the page alone changes nothing on your side: a chat is linked to a client only by a booking, a shared number or their reminders link. In @Setvos_bot, the client’s home shows their next visit with “Show code”, “Open” and “Directions”, their upcoming and past visits, the businesses they book at with “Book again”, and a directory to search or to browse “Near me”. A link to your page opens your page alone, never the directory.
Their code at the desk
On a visit, “Show code” shows the QR and the visit code to show or say at the desk. A visit opened from a link somebody forwarded shows the code without the QR. A deposit is paid on your gateway's page, which opens outside the app; the client comes back to the visit, and the bot confirms the deposit in the chat once your gateway does. A deposit left unpaid gets one reminder in the chat with a button to pay: halfway through the hold when you release unpaid deposits, otherwise an hour after the booking. Neither line is ever sent as a paid text.
Limits
One Telegram account can make six bookings a day across all businesses; your own limits per phone number and per day still apply.
Forget me
In the app's settings, “Forget me on Telegram” deletes the number Setvos kept for the person and their links to the bot. Your client record stays yours.
