Setvos on your phone: the apps that are coming, and what to use today

Two phone apps are on their way, one for your team and one for your clients. Until they are in the App Store and Google Play, here is how to run your day and let clients book from a phone.

  1. 01

Two apps, not in the stores yet

Setvos Business is the app for you and your team, and Setvos is the app for your clients. Neither is in the App Store or Google Play yet. They are coming, and there is no date to share.

  2. 02

    Setvos Business, for your team

It is being built for what you do standing up, between clients or away from the desk: the diary by day, week and month, booking a client at a chosen time, a walk-in, checking a client in, taking a visit’s payment and booking the next one, answering messages, checking stock, approving leave, clocking in and looking at the numbers. Connecting services, importing data, designing your booking page and managing your plan stay on the web. In the app, the “New contact” screen has a “Birthday” field, typed as 12.05 or 12.05.1990, and a client’s screen shows the birthday under their name. Above the tabs, a line of text says where your licence stands — a trial’s days left or, for owners and admins, a renewal payment that did not go through — and that your plan is managed on the web. Tapping the notice of a failed payment on the phone opens your notifications.

In the app’s diary, a visit the client confirmed with “I’ll be there” under a Telegram reminder shows a tick, and tapping the morning brief opens today’s diary. After you take a visit’s payment, when its services say when clients usually come back, a “Next visit” screen shows the suggested day, with ‹ › arrows to move it, and that person’s free times on it, the first one already chosen: tap “Book” to book it, or “Not now”. The app has its own Notifications screen, under Settings: push on this phone, a Bell and a Phone switch for each group of notices, quiet hours and Telegram — the same choices as Account settings › Notifications in the web app.

  3. 03

    Setvos, for your clients

It is being built for your clients to find you, book a visit, pay a deposit you ask for, move or cancel what they booked, show a code to check in, keep their points and memberships, get a gift card and leave a review. In the app’s profile, a client can also add their birthday, and it is copied to their card with you.

  4. 04

Until then, your team uses the web app

Setvos works in a phone’s browser today, with layouts made for a small screen. You can put it on your home screen so it opens like an app, and link Telegram to get your notices on the phone.

  5. 05

Until then, clients use your booking page

Clients book on your booking page in their phone’s browser, with no app and no account, and manage the booking from the link in their confirmation.

Common questions

Where is my plan in the staff app?

In Setvos Business, Account → Plan shows your team size, the term and when it renews, its state — active, the trial’s days left, past due, read-only or cancelled — and this month’s allowances as meters. Owners and admins also see what changes at the renewal. The app shows no prices and changes nothing here: your plan is managed on the web.
