Notifications: common questions

Short answers about pushes, switches and finding an older notice.

Common questions

Why did I not get a push on my phone?

Pushes go to the Setvos staff app, which is coming to the app stores. Until then, link Telegram to get notices on your phone. Also check the “Phone” switch for that kind of notice, and your quiet hours.

Why do I still get a notice I switched off?

Some notices are always on, and are marked “Always on” in your settings. They are about your account, your plan, your money and your data. If you turned off only “Phone”, the notice still arrives in the bell, as it should; if you turned off only “Bell”, it is still pushed to your phone.

Some kinds of notice in my settings never reach me. Why?

The list has a line for every kind of notice Setvos sends, but each notice goes only to the people it concerns: a task or a ticket to its assignee, a won deal to its owner, a time-off request to the person’s manager, and notices about the plan, billing or a failing SMS gateway to the owner, or to the owners and admins. Your switches decide what reaches you out of what is sent to you.

Do my settings apply in every workspace?

Yes. Your notification settings belong to you, not to a workspace, and nobody else can see or change them.

Where do I find an older notice?

Account settings › Notifications keeps them all under “Recent”. Press “Older” at the bottom of the list to go back further.
