Performance: review cycles for your team

Run review cycles, periods in which everyone gets a rating and a written review, and keep each person's reviews on their record.

  1. 01

    What a cycle is

A cycle is a named period, such as “H1 2026”, with a start and an end date. Activating it creates one review for every employee who is not offboarded.

  2. 02

    The Performance screen

Performance shows one cycle at a time. It opens on the active cycle, or, when none is active, the one that starts latest; switch cycles in the picker at the top. You see the cycle's status and dates, how many reviews are submitted, and a card per person.

  3. 03

    A cycle's life

A new cycle is a draft. “Activate cycle” opens it for reviews and “Close cycle” ends it. A closed cycle cannot be opened again.

  4. 04

    Where reviews end up

A submitted review shows its rating and summary on the person's card, on the “Performance” tab of their record with who wrote it and when, and in their “Recent activity”.

  5. 05

    Where to start

Create a cycle with “New cycle” and activate it when reviewers are ready to write. Creating a cycle needs a role that can create in Performance; activating, closing and writing reviews need one that can edit it, and the buttons show only to those roles. Performance needs People switched on.
