Performance · How-to
Run a review cycle
Create a cycle, activate it so everyone gets a review, and close it when the reviews are in.
Create the cycle
On Performance, press “New cycle”; the button is there only for a role that can create in Performance. Give it a “Name”, a “Start date” and an “End date”, then press “Create cycle”. It starts as a draft.
Activate it
Press “Activate cycle”. A pending review appears for every employee whose status is not Offboarded. “Activate cycle” and “Close cycle” are there only for a role that can edit Performance.
Collect the reviews
Reviewers write theirs on each person's card while the cycle is active. The count at the top shows how many are submitted.
Close it
When you are done, press “Close cycle”. Reviews not written by then show “Not submitted”, and no more can be written.
Common questions
- Someone joined after I activated the cycle. Are they included?
No. Reviews are created once, when the cycle is activated. Include them in the next cycle.
- Can I close a draft cycle?
No. Activate it first; only an active cycle can be closed.
- Can I run review cycles on the phone?
Yes: “New cycle” takes a name and dates; “Activate cycle” gives everyone who has not been offboarded a review to fill in, and “Close cycle” stops new reviews.
