A birthday booked as one private session
A studio that runs open classes gets the same message every week: can we have the whole class for my daughter’s birthday?

The usual answer is a phone call, a price agreed in messages and a class taken off the timetable by hand — and then a guest who booked a place online for the same evening.
The whole session at its own price
Give the class a price for a private session. On your booking page a parent can then book the whole session at that price, at any time nobody has a place in yet. The session closes to everyone else and leaves the page, and the class’s register shows it as private.
The cake on the same bill
Add-ons are other services with one price — a kiln firing, a cake, a photo set. A private session offers them after the time is chosen, each adding its price and no time, and they arrive at the till already on the bill.
One booking, one price, one bill — and the evening is theirs.
Places for a family
An open class can sell an adult’s and a child’s place at their own prices. A parent books both in one go: a place per person, each with its own visit code, all under one link and paid together.
- A deposit or the full price is paid online on your own gateway when the places are booked.
- Cancelled before your cancellation window, it goes back to the card; after it, it is kept.
- If you cancel the class, every paid place is refunded.
At the desk
In the class’s register, “Check out” sells a family’s places in one sale, less the deposit paid ahead, with any of the class’s add-ons you tick. A class membership is used in the register, never at the till.
What it does not do
A place booked online takes no add-ons; they are sold at the desk. And a session can be booked whole only while nobody has a place in it.
