Switching to Setvos

Switching to Setvos from another booking system or a spreadsheet

Your clients, services and staff come across as files: export them from the system you use now and the import screen reads them, with a preview before anything is written and an undo afterwards. Nothing about your old system needs to be retyped.

  1. 01

    Export what you have

From your current system, download your clients, your services and your staff, and the visit history if you want it, as spreadsheet files. Keep them as they are.

  2. 02

Choose where the file comes from

Open Settings → Import and export, pick the kind of record the file holds, and choose its source under “Coming from”: Altegio / YCLIENTS, EasyWeek, Appointer, Fresha, or Excel / Google Sheets for any other table. Each profile knows that export’s column names.

  3. 03

    Check the preview

You see how many rows would be new, updated or skipped, and why a row has a problem. A column nobody recognised can be matched by hand, or left out.

  4. 04

Import, and undo if you need to

Press “Import these rows”. The batch appears in the import history, where Undo removes the records it created.

  5. 05

    Enter the bookings still ahead

Past visits arrive as history. Upcoming bookings are entered in the diary, where the published rota checks each one, so nothing is booked twice.

  6. 06

    Move your booking link

Publish the rota and put your new booking link wherever the old one was — Instagram, Google, your website — and keep the old system until its last booking has passed.
