Coating maintenance, booked at checkout
Every detailer knows that a ceramic coating needs a maintenance wash every few months. Most clients know it too, on the day. Six months later, most of them have forgotten.

The maintenance visit is the easiest sale a detailing studio has: the client already trusts you with the car, already paid for the coating, and wants it to last. It is lost not to a competitor but to the calendar. The fix is to book it before the client leaves.
Give every coating a return interval
On each service, set how many days later the client should come back: ninety days for a maintenance wash after a coating, a year for a coating top-up, whatever your products ask for. A service without an interval is left alone, so the express wash does not start offering itself.
Let checkout make the offer
When the job is paid at checkout, Setvos works out the date from the interval and finds the first free slot around it in the same place — a bay and a detailer free together. The person at the desk sees the suggestion and books it with the client standing there, in front of a car that will never look better than it does at that moment.
Ask at the till, not by text three months later. The client says yes to the car in front of them, not to a reminder.
A booked maintenance visit is an ordinary visit: it has its own reminder before it, it can be moved from the client’s own link, and a deposit applies if the service has one.
For the client who said “later”
Some will not book on the spot. For them, switch on the win-back message: a client who has not been back after the number of days you choose gets one message with the link to your booking page. It is a marketing message, so it goes only to clients who agreed to hear from you, and it carries a stop link.
- A return interval on each coating and film service.
- The next visit offered at checkout, with the first free slot already found.
- One win-back message for those who did not book, with a stop link.
Keep the car with the client
Each car is its own record under the client, with make, model and plate in its own fields, and every booking asks which car it is for; the visit history sits under it — which coating, when, and which products came off the shelf through the service’s recipe. The next detailer to see the car reads that before the wash starts, and the before photos on the last visit show what the paint looked like.
What to expect
Some clients will book their maintenance visit before they drive away; others will come back through the win-back message, and some not at all. Either way, the diary for the next three months starts filling on the day of the coating, not on the day you remember to call.
