Open, change or export a saved report

Run a saved report on today’s data, change its settings, download it as a CSV file, or delete it.

  1. 01

    Find the report

Open Reports and choose “Saved reports”. Each card shows the report’s name, its data source, its period and when it was last changed.

  2. 02

    Open it

Click the card. The report runs on the latest data each time you open it, so the numbers are always current. If it cannot run for you, for example because your role cannot view its data source, it says why in place of the chart, with “Try again”.

  3. 03

    Change it

Press “Edit”, change any setting while the preview updates, and press “Save changes”, or “Cancel” to leave it as it was. “Edit” is there for roles that may edit in Reports.

  4. 04

    Download it

Press “Export CSV” to download the current result as a spreadsheet file, or choose “Export as CSV” in the ⋯ menu on the report’s card. The file has its column headings in your language and the numbers your role lets you see. Downloading needs a role that allows exporting.

  5. 05

    Delete it

On the “Saved reports” tab, open the ⋯ menu on the report’s card and choose “Delete”. Type the report’s name and press “Delete” to confirm: it is removed for good, together with any scheduled emails that send it. Only roles that may delete in Reports see this.

Common questions

Why does a figure say “Also” under it?

Money is never added across currencies. A figure is in your workspace’s currency; money taken in another currency over the same days is listed under it. Press one of those amounts to see the figures in that currency.

Can I open saved reports on the phone?

Yes, under Saved reports: each runs with your own access. “Export CSV” opens the share sheet, and Delete asks you to type the report’s name.
